BREAKING: David Cunniff Leaves Rangers Organization For ECHL

The Worcester Railers, who are the ECHL affiliate of the New York Islanders, announced that they have hired Wolf Pack assistant coach David Cunniff as their new head coach and general manager.

The Wolf Pack lead their division with 27 points and has been one of the top teams in the AHL this season. It’s odd for a coach to leave in the middle of the season, but it’s possible this was an offer that Cunniff couldn’t refuse.
