Off the heals of trading Dan Girardi for Keith Yandle (details still emerging), we get news that the Rangers and Mats Zuccarello are close to a deal as well.

With word that the Coyotes may be retaining some of Yandle’s salary that may have allowed Sather to find common ground on an extension with Zuccarello.
