Chris Kreider leaves game against Detroit after collision

Chris Kreider who has been red hot and had an assist in tonight’s contest left the game during the 2nd period after a collision. What was not obvious was exactly what was the injury. It initially appeared like an injury to his left leg but he also took a knee to the head from Zibanejad who tried to leap over him.

Currently Kreider is in the locker room and no word on if he will return.
