David Quinn reveals Pavel Buchnevich will not miss qualifying round

David Quinn was asked if Pavel Buchnevich who left practice early yesterday, was in jeopardy of missing game one against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Rangers coach said, “I can say that is not the case.”

Once again, the reason why teams are not allowed to reveal any info on why a player left or did not attend is due to the NHL and NHLPA. They agreed that the league will handle any disclosure during the Return to Play phases.
