  • Brendan Harris (F)

The roster breakdown for the Pack is as follows per the team press release:

Forwards (19): Easton Brodzinski, Will Cuylle, Cristiano DiGiacinto, Turner Elson, Tanner Fritz, Tim Gettinger, Brendan Harris, Karl Henriksson, Zach Jordan, Patrick Khodorenko, Ryder Korczak, Ryan Lohin, Lauri Pajuniemi, Matt Rempe, Austin Rueschhoff, C.J. Smith, Sam Sternschein, Bobby Trivigno, and Alex Whelan.

Defensemen (12): Ty Emberson, Zach Giuttari, Louka Henault, Blake Hillman, Luke Martin, Joe Masonius, Matthew Robertson, Jake Ryczek, Brandon Scanlin, Hunter Skinner, Tim Theocharidis, and Andy Welinski.

Goaltenders (5): Talyn Boyko, Louis Domingue, Parker Gahagen, Dylan Garand, and Olof Lindbom.

Cuylle, 20, posted 43 goals and 80 points in 50 games for the OHL’s Windsor Spitfires last season. He added another 15 goals and 31 points in 25 playoff games.

New York traded away Lias Andersson to the Los Angeles Kings in order to select the 6-3, 212 lbs forward in second round of the 2020 Draft. While he looked solid in camp, Cuylle’s game needs more work and a full season in the AHL will help.

Garand, 20, had an amazing record of 34-9 and 4 shutouts for the WHL’s Kamloops Blazers in 2021-22. His GAA of 2.16 and his .925 SV% were good for second in the WHL.

The goaltender was selected in the fourth round of the 2020 Draft and has exceeded expectations since being taken. At the WJC, he was a perfect 6-0 to help Team Canada win gold. Garand played in one preseason game and stopped 9 of 10 shots in a win over the Islanders.

Hartford will open their season on the road against the Charlotte Checkers. That game is set for October 14 at 7 PM ET. Their home opener is October 22 against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins with puck-drop set for 7 PM ET.
