Miller to represent Rangers on Team USA

USA Hockey

Team USA announced their final roster for this week’s World Junior Championships and Blueshirts prospect K’Andre Miller will don his country’s red, white, and blue on the world’s stage.

Miller has had an impressive freshman season playing on the Wisconsin Badgers blue-line. The 18-year-old Minnesota native has put up 17 points (4G, 13A) in 18 games which leads the entire team in offensive production.

Unfortunately, the other Rangers prospect invited to Team USA’s camp, defenseman Joey Keane, was left off of the roster. Keane, who was a third-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, has had himself a solid season for the Barrie Colts of the OHL. In 29 games this season, Keane has put up 20 points (4G, 16A), which ranks him second among Barrie’s defensemen, and tenth in the OHL amongst defensemen under 20 years of age.
