I remember how so many Rangers fans cried and moaned when huge bust Emerson Etem was traded to Vancouver in return for Nicklas Jensen. Many cited how Alain Vigneault didn’t give him a chance and that his fancy stats said he was good. I’m like…what were you people watching? Etem was terrible.

When the trade was announced, Jensen was made out to be an awful AHL player. Then he started performing well in Hartford with 15 goals and 25 points in 41 games. Now, he scored a highlight reel goal and is showing signs of possibly having a real shot of making the Rangers next season. But you know…Emerson Etem folks!
