Alain Vigneault expects Mats Zuccarello back for camp
NHL.com’s Dan Rosen caught up with Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault last night in Vegas. He asked AV about Mats Zuccarello and got this update.

This is great news especially after hearing the horrors Zuccarello faced for days after the injury. Vigneault reiterated that to Rosen as well.
[su_quote cite=”Dan Rosen” url=”https://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=771806″]”For a while there he was making real good strides and he kept making strides, but obviously a puck to the head and you lose part of your speech is a serious injury,” Vigneault said. “Our docs did a great job and he was coming along real well.”[/su_quote]
Zuccarello was a big loss for the Blueshirts and there is no telling what impact he could have had on them in the Eastern Conference Final. What is important here is Zuccarello will make a full recovery and be ready for camp in September.
