All signs point to the King’s return today against Boston (NYR v BOS 1PM)
While many Rangers fans were waiting anxiously for the Rangers to announce when Henrik Lundqvist would return, it was the King himself who sent out two tweets that may indicate he’s starting today.
Almost 2 months. It’s been a roller coaster of emotions but happy to finally be back. Let’s get it going, step by step.

If that wasn’t enough, it looked like Jeff Gordon himself confirmed it.

So it looks like Lundqvist will return today and man the nets versus a struggling Bruins team.
GAME 74: New York Rangers v. Boston Bruins, TD Garden, Boston, MA 1PM
While I am happy he’s back, I’m also concerned that a player like Milan Lucic will try and bump him at the first opportunity he gets. Everyone better pull out their Tanner Glass fan club cards and get on the train. If Boston gets physical near Lundqvist the Rangers will need Glass to take on the B’s.

SEASON SERIES (1-1)
The Bruins won the opening salvo 3-0 against Cam Talbot and the Rangers back in January. Talbot got his revenge at the Garden in a 3-2 win that was his first game taking over for an injured Henrik Lundqvist. This is the rubber match and will conclude their regular season series.
