The Blueshirts have recalled Michael Kostka to replace Dan Boyle on the roster. In addition they have also put Matthew Lombardi on unconditional waivers after he refused assignment to Hartford. This will officially put the Rangers at 49 contracts by tomorrow.

The right-handed Kostka was a bit of surprise for me as I thought Conor Allen would get the call. Apparently, Vigneault felt it would be best to let Allen to continue to develop in Hartford.
Expect to see Matt Hunwick in the lineup tomorrow.
Rangers are in Columbus practicing as they prepare to face the Blue Jackets tomorrow.
