Brody Lamb, Forward
Sophomore forward Brody Lamb had his first career multi-goal game as the top ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers won 6-5 in overtimes against the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) Tommies. Each of Lamb’s two goals came during a rally in the third period. Lamb was also credited for the assist on linemate Jimmy Snuggerud’s goal in the third period. The New York Rangers prospect was named the third star of the game. Went 3-1-4 on the weekend in the first two games of the season. Lamb is capable of playing either wing, which should help his development and is poised to have a breakthrough season playing big minutes for the Golden Gophers, especially if he can stick in the top six. Minnesota will travel to North Dakota for a pair of games against the Fight Hawks on October 20th and 21st.
Drew Fortescue, Defense and Gabriel Perreault, Forward

Merrimack will host Clarkson University on Friday, October 20 before St. Lawrence University comes to North Andover, Massachusetts on Sunday, October 22nd. With the way the Warriors split goaltending duties, expect Ollas to be given the second game of the weekend against the “Skating Saints”.

This proved to be the game-winning goal and was scored while he was falling down on the follow through attempt to fire the puck past the Union goalie.
