Cam Talbot Was Injured During ECF Warmups

Talbot and Lundqvist have had a successful season together (NHL)

The NY Post has learned that Cam Talbot suffered an injury during game 6 warmups. New York has yet to disclose if it is an upper or lower body injury.

Considering the nature of the injury as being day-to-day, it’s hopeful he will be back as early as tonight. If he is unavailable, David LeNeveu, will remain as the backup.

So who is David LeNeveu? He is 31 years old and has played 22 games in the NHL. He was quoted saying “I prepare to do whatever’s called upon me to do… And if I have to go in, I’ll be ready to go.”

The last time LeNeveu played in the NHL was 2006-07 and posted a near 4 goals against average in 6 games. Heal quickly Cam!
