Final NHL player opt out list, no New York Rangers on it
The 5PM deadline to inform teams if a player will opt out has passed. Unless news breaks late, it appears the final list is in.
NHL Players opting out
The first player to opt out of returning to play was Travis Hamonic of the Calgary Flames on Friday night. The very next day he was joined by five other players including Edmonton Oilers trade deadline acquisition, Mike Green.

Initially it was believed that Zach Trotman opted out, but he was left off for medical reasons because his wife is having a baby. The Montreal Canadiens are also holding a decision on Max Domi for next week.
Today, Florida Panthers assistant Mike Kitchen opted out. He is the only coach in the NHL to decide not to return.
No Rangers from this season’s roster opted out

We reported on Saturday that the Rangers did not expect any current player already in NY to opt out. The deadline has passed and we can now confirm. New York opened up training camp today and are all charged to go for the Cup.
NHL announced seven new positive COVID-19 cases
The NHL has announced seven new cases of COVID-19 since last week. The final total number of positive tests for Phase 2 is 30.
Also today, the Penguins help back 9 players from practice they believe to have been exposed to COVID-19.
