Today Alain Vigneault provided the following update on his status.
[su_quote cite=”Blueshirts United” url=”https://www.blueshirtsunited.com/article/zuccarello-skates-stepan-gets-praise-av”]”He’s just going through the process of getting healthy,” head coach Alain Vigneault said after the team’s optional morning skate at The Garden before Game 2 against the Tampa Bay Lightning. “He skated a little bit on his own today and I’m assuming that’s going to get a little longer here as we move forward.”[/su_quote]
Mats Zuccarello is slowly making his way back to playing. He began light workouts last week and has progressed to light skating on his own. Temper expectations of seeing him anytime soon, but if the Rangers can advance beyond this round, there appears to be hope.
