Good News for Rangers as Igor Shesterkin is back on the ice
David Quinn revealed today in his post game presser that goaltender Igor Shesterkin is getting better and could return sooner than envisioned. Here’s what he said to a reporter that asked.

Yeah, he feels a lot better. He’s been on the ice and taking some shots but nothing high. He might be back sooner then we envisioned but it is an injury (fractured ribs) that you’re going to have to monitor daily. The guy has made a lot of progress in a week.

This is great news for the team as Shesterkin was red hot prior to the accident. More information will come later this week and a clearer picture for his return is imminent.
