Henrik Lundqvist is a healthy scratch tonight for the Rangers

The Rangers stalwart in net for the last 15 plus years will be a healthy scratch in what could possibly the first time in his Rangers career. According to reports, Lundqvist did some extra work at the skate and will watch the game with his mom in the stands. Alexandar Georgiev will back up Igor Shesterkin.

Got a little info on Hank: I'm told he stayed late for extra work at the morning skate (on the ice and in the weight room) since the team hasn't been practicing a lot lately. He and DQ talked and decided to use Georgiev as the backup since Hank had a heavy work day. #NYR
