Hold Off Glen Sather’s Retirement Party

FTR has learned that Jim Schoenfeld was overheard laughing when asked about the rumors of Glen Sather’s possible retirement.

We wrote earlier this week of the possibility that Glen Sather may soon decide to retreat to his castle in La Quinta, California. But our little seed of doubt is now an oak tree after the GM of the Wolfpack laughed off the possibility.

The report originated when Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal suggested that Sather may indeed retire. Recently on the Michael Kay show on ESPN, Garden president Jim Dolan reiterated Sather’s desire to win a Cup in NY. So unless that happens this summer, Glen may be here for awhile.
