Hope Grows: Zuccarello skated lightly on his own

The Rangers are reporting that Mats Zuccarello has started to skate on his own.

Mats Zuccarello skated in full gear at Madison Square Garden this morning.

Rangers say Zuccarello skated lightly on his own this morning but no change in status, still out indefinitely. Obvious positive sign, tho.

This is great news even if he can’t return to the ECF. If the Rangers do get to the Finals, they will need Mats to balance the offense.
