Igor Shesterkin, Adam Fox and Artemi Panarin ready to show off All-Star Skills
New York Rangers All-Stars Igor Shesterkin, Adam Fox, and Artemi Panarin are all set to have some fun on the beach and on the ice in Sunrise, Florida.
The NHL announced the participants for the All-Stars Skills competition events which will take place Friday night at 7 pm et on ESPN. All in all, there are 7 unique events with the Rangers participating in three of them.

Igor Shesterkin will participate in the Tendy Tandem partnering up with close friend, New York Islanders goalie Ilya Sorokin. According to the rules, one goalie will earn points for shooting accuracy and the other for saves.
“We try to help each other out,” Shesterkin said of his friend Sorokin. “Not only on the hockey rink… if something happens we call each other.”
Shesterkin also confirmed that he would be the shooting goalie by responding with a laughing “No” when told that Ilya thinks he’s a better shooter.
Igor will then team up with fellow teammate Adam Fox in the Splash Shot competition. The event will take place on the beach and is a head-to-head single elimination tournament to hit targets and dunk your opponent.
“Every night I look at him like that,” Shesterkin gestured wide eyes talking about Fox. “I see everything that everybody (does on the ice). I think maybe he has a third eye because he sees things other players don’t see.”
Finally, Artemi Panarin will take part in the accuracy competition against 9 other shooters that includes Connor McDavid, Vladimir Tarasenko, and Jack Hughes.
Panarin, Shesterkin, and Fox
Shesterkin, 27, enters the All-Star weekend with a record of 21-8-7. He’s bolstered by a 2.45 GAA and a .918 save percentage. The NHL’s hockey ops selected him to represent the Rangers.
Meanwhile the fans voted in two more Blueshirts to participate.
Fox, 24, has 48 points in 49 games this season. He was selected to the All-Star game last year but was unable to participate due to injury.
Panarin, 31, has registered 50 points in 49 contests this season. Similar to Fox, he was selected to an All-Star game previously in 2019-20 but could not attend due to injury. This will be his first official appearance.
