J.T Miller Is Hot For The Rangers
Miller Impressive
Last season, 23-year-old J.T Miller had a breakout year. He was able to net 22 goals and appeared in all 82 games for the New York Rangers. It has been a great start this season for Miller, as he is on pace to set career highs. Miller has seven goals, and 10 assists through 18 games.
Miller is on the third line with Kevin Hayes and Jimmy Vesey/Michael Grabner. They have been the hottest line for the Rangers this entire season. Miller is the leading point getter on the line. As of late Miller has been hot, he has 5 points in 5 games including 2 goals in a 7-2 blowout against the Vancouver Canucks.
Consistent Play
Miller leads the Rangers and is top-5 in the NHL in plus/minus rating with a +16. His development as a player on this team is outstanding. Miller has gone from being a healthy scratch every night to scoring goals and making plays on a consistent basis.
Miller is a player with great speed and is excellent at putting the puck in the net. Miller has also been deft at making chances for himself, as is evident of his 39 shots-on-goal.
The Journey Continues
Miller has gone through a lot in his career. The former 1st-round pick was shuttled back and forth an astounding six times from Hartford, and look where he is now…the Rangers leading point man. The kid also lists former Ranger, Alexei Kovalev and one of his boyhood idols as and looks to get better every single game.
