Kevin Klein unlikely for game 1 of the playoffs, no problem “Hunny”
Alain Vigneault gave an update on the status of Kevin Klein who did not practice with the team today. As of right now, it appears he will also not practice tomorrow which if that is the case would mean a no-go for game one.
Vigneault says he does not expect Klein to practice tomorrow, and therefore, means he doesn’t expect him to play in Game 1 #NYR

There is no reason for the Rangers to panic here either as Matt “Hunny” Hunwick has done an admirable job all season for the Blueshirts.
Kevin Klein has been out since mid March after taking a shot from Alex Ovechkin off his arm. In his absence, Hunwick has posted 2 goals, 3 points, and a +/- of 5 in 15 games. He has averaged 14:72 TOI per game since Klein went down. The Rangers record during that span: 11-4.
For the season Hunwick has 11 points and is a +17. I think the Rangers are going to be just fine.
