Henrik Lundqvist will make his fourth all-star appearance and his first since 2012, when on January 28th, he will hope to backstop Team Metro to a victory in the 3v3 tournament. Henrik Lundqvist also appeared as an all-star during the 2009, 2011, and 2012 seasons. In 35 games this season, Hank has gone 19-10-4 with a 2.52 GAA, a .924 SV%, and two shutouts. Henrik Lundqvist being named to the 2018 All-Star game is no surprise as he is one of the few reasons why the Rangers have gotten their season back on track after a disastrous October.
Among goaltenders in the Metropolitan Division, Lundqvist ranks first in SV% (.924) and saves (1,032), ranks second in appearances (35), is tied for second in shutouts (two), and ranks third in wins (19) and GAA (2.52) in 2017-18.
