Nash to Boston almost done, and your latest Rangers trade rumors
Last night Rangers’ fans went to bed with the news that the Boston Bruin were the lead dog to land Rick Nash. Overnight it appears that a deal may be in place if the Bruins can make the cap hit work. Here’s the latest.
Following up our Headlines.. sources saying framework of a deal in place btw @NYRangers and @NHLBruins for Rick Nash. Salary cap implications much like the Brassard deal still being worked on #notdone @NHL https://t.co/75IMRcO97n

One Boston reporter claims the deal is done and it has the Bruins 1st round pick and prospect Trent Frederic heading back to NY. The issue is finding a 3rd party for Boston to offload some salary in order to fit Nash, even with the Rangers eating 50% of his salary.
For the doubters, Bruins GM, Sweeney admitted to talking to the Rangers about Nash.
Sweeney when asked about Nash reports: “Talked to a lot of teams. Not denying I called the Rangers. Nothing to report tonight.”

Now Mckenzie tweets this:
Not yet official yet because the trade call with NHL has not happened but BOS and NYR have a deal in place for Rick Nash. Return to NYR expected to include BOS first-round pick and prospect defenseman Ryan Lindgren, but there are other elements to the deal as well.

Hold tight for the official deal.
Latest On McDonagh
The Panthers seem to be really not for the Rangers captain.
Couple other quick notes: if WIN looks for a depth LD, one possibility is Viktor Antipin from BUF. He played for Paul Maurice in KHL…also FLA, which snared a huge win tonight, showing serious interest in Ryan McDonagh from NYR.
