Nettavisen suggests Mats Zuccarello is done for the season

Zuccarello (Anthony J. Causi)

The Rangers are set to play game 7 against the Washington Capitals tonight at Madison Square Garden and will likely have Mats Zuccarello once again rooting in the stands. However, a report out of Norway from Nettavisen suggests that will be the extent of his contributions the rest of the way.

The translation I pulled was this:

Zuccarello’s not going to play a game seven. There is every indication that he’s not going to be playing more this season at all, unfortunately. (via Google Translate)

The problem I have with this particular statement is the entire article never explains what the “indication” is.

Last reports we heard came from Zuccarello’s manager who indicated he was progressing and doing light workouts. So, unless there is definitive word from the Rangers that he will be ruled out for the season I would take this article from Norway with a huge serving of salt.
