New York Rangers continue Zibanejad contract talks
Today, Larry Brooks reported that  Mika Zibanejad will sit down one last time with the Rangers prior to going into tomorrow’s arbitration hearing.
Obviously, we know the reports that have been out about the give/ask. Which had Zibanejad asking for $5.3Million, while Rangers offered only $4.1Million. It is said by Brooks that Zibanejad will only seek a one-year deal through arbitration, so that he would be a free agent next season and go through the arbitration process once again. Hopefully, Gorton is able to get a multi-year contract done prior to the arbitration hearing on Tuesday, so they could avoid all of this next season.
