New York Rangers Draft Swedish (D) Calle Sjalin
New York Rangers drafted with the 145th pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft Calle Sjalin a Swedish defense-man. This is a 17 year old kid, who played for Östersunds IK in Sweden. This could be a steal in the 4th round as he was ranked #44 for EU skaters by NHL Central Scouting. His numbers are pretty good for a young, 17 year old defense-man. Hopefully, we can see him in a few years as he transitions to North American hockey. He will be playing in Sweden next season, but he is definitely a player to keep your eye on over the next few years.
