The NHL Trade deadline is on February 24th and Forever Blueshirts has been on top of all the latest trade rumors this season. Based on information I have gathered along with info from Hockey Insiders like Bob McKenzie, Darren Dreger, Elliotte Friedman and others, we have created the NYR Trade Meter.
We’ve taken the number of times a player has been mentioned by insiders or local sources like Larry Brooks in order to base the probability that a player is likely to be traded. We cross referenced it with TSN’s Trade Bait list and other sites to compile the best percentage possible. The result is the chart below to see what‘s the probability that Ranger will be moved by the deadline. We will be updating this meter weekly.
