O’Regan to Hartford, Fogarty to the waiver wire

Earlier today, the Rangers announced that forward Danny O’Regan was assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack.

The 25-year-old O’Regan was a free agent signing this summer for the Blueshirts and was brought in to be a veteran presence in Hartford.

In addition to O’Regan clearing waivers, the Blueshirts placed forward Steven Fogarty on waivers. Fogarty was one of Hartford’s best players last season, recording 52 points (21G, 31A) in 66 games with the AHL club.
