MacKenzie Skapski will be returned to Hartford after a brief stint with the big club. Larry Brooks is reporting that Henrik Lundqvist will dress tomorrow versus Ottawa.

Lundqvist will dress (if not play?) Thursday night in Ottawa. Skapski returning to AHL today. Recall up front a possibility next few days.

As for the kid, he put on a nice show in his two games in the NHL against Buffalo. His stat line reads:

2 GP: 2 wins, 1 shutout, .50 GAA, .978 SV%

Larry Brooks did throw in a hint that Lundqvist might play on Thursday but it still seems highly unlikely. Especially after Alain Vigneault said yesterday that it would be a “stretch”.
