Rangers Announce Next Round Of Cuts
Moments ago, the Rangers announced the next round of roster cuts as the team gets ready for the 2018-2019 season.
OFFICIAL: #NYR have made the following changes to the #NYRTC roster:

Of the four players under contract trying to make the club, Gilmour was the only one, you could argue, that had a legitimate shot at making the roster after last season’s audition at the end of the season. But with Brady Skjei and veterans Marc Staal, Fredrik Claesson, and Brendan Smith all looking to crack the opening night lineup, Gilmour is best served playing top minutes down in Hartford.
Drew Melanson and Olympian Bobby Butler were released from their corresponding tryout opportunities and are also heading to Hartford.
