Rangers Assign Nieves To Hartford

Moments ago, the Rangers announced that they have assigned forward Boo Nieves to Hartford.

Nieves suffered a concussion in the Rangers’ preseason opener against the Devils after taking a high hit from defenseman Eric Gryba. The 24-year-old forward is a versatile player that can play both in the middle and down the wing and is responsible in his own end. We’ll see if the Rangers give him a look this season as the team is still in the midst of seeing what talent they have throughout the entire organization.
