Peter Laviolette wants greatness from Rangers
The Blueshirts new bench boss spoke to the media for over 18 minutes and addressed a number of topics.
Through that conversation, we learned that Alexis Lafreniere will start training camp as a right wing, there will be no changes to the leadership group, and Laviolette is open to anything regarding the lineup.
When asked if he had a message to deliver to his new team at the start of camp, Laviolette focused on what he expects each player to be.
“The one message from me to the players is every day to come in and try to show your greatness,” he said. “Inside of a team sport, we need players to be great.”
