Rangers lock up defenseman, Skjei for 6 years
As expected the Rangers locked up Brady Skjei to a longterm deal, thus avoiding arbitration and holding on to his rights for the next six seasons.

The deal is reminiscent to the one they signed with Ryan McDonagh but this time they paid a little more to get more years.
Skjei in at $5.25M for six years. Fair deal for both sides.

Brady Skjei plays an excellent two-way game and can play top pair minutes for the foreseeable future. A great deal for both parties.
