Rangers prized prospect K’Andre Miller season ends early

Miller (Charles Wenzelberg)

K’Andre Miller was selected in the 1st round by the New York Rangers in last year’s draft. The strapping forward turned defenseman may become the steal of the 1st round at 22nd overall.

Sadly, Miller went down with a leg injury a month ago and never returned to play another game for Wisconsin. However, the freshman put up some impressive numbers during his abbreviated season.

Miller did struggle in international play against better competition but his physical abilities and raw talent are going to be something to behold with more seasoning.

We can expect to see Miller back with the Rangers at the next prospect’s camp later this summer.
