Traktor Chelyabinsk has decided not to terminate Vitali Kravtsov’s contract and he will remain in Russia until April 30th, as confirmed by KHL insider Igor Eronko.

The most likely reason behind this decision is that the Russian federation has placed Vitali Kravtsov on a shortlist for the national team or the Olympic team (Russia B) for the upcoming spring tournaments. The first of those tournaments will be at the end of April. By not releasing him, Vitali Kravtsov will not join the Rangers this season.
