Rangers Re-Sign Defenseman John Gilmour And Announce Others
The Rangers announced moments ago that RFA defenseman John Gilmour has re-signed with the Blueshirts.

Gilmour played admirably last season in 28 games with the Rangers, showing his speed and defensive IQ to be worthy of earning a bridge deal. This will be Gilmour’s chance to show Rangers management that he can be a mainstay on the blue line for years to come.
The Rangers also announced that they have agreed on terms with other RFAs Chris Bigras, Steven Fogarty, Boo Nieves and Rob O’Gara.
John Gilmour's salary for this #NYR one-year deal is $650,000 in NHL and $100,000 in AHL. Accepting QO's were Nieves ($709,750), O'Gara ($874,125), Fogarty ($708,750) and Birgas ($832,500).
