I expect that Kovalchuk and Gorton will meet this weekend or early next week to discuss where they are both at and if a fit exists.
Nash Done in Boston?
Some experts believe that the Bruins seeking to speak with Kovalchuk means that they may be looking to move on from Rick Nash. If Kovalchuk does decide Boston is the place to be, it  is unlikely that they’ll make Nash an offer.
Sadly, Nash suffered another concussion and had a miserable playoff to boot. He may be a very intriguing UFA this summer and could be had at a bargain basement price if he’s available in late July.
