Here are the latest rumblings around Rangerstown.

Prospects Hit The Ice

Although the NHL season has not begun just yet, there are Rangers prospects that have hit the ice with their respective clubs. Starting in the KHL, SKA’s Yegor Rykov and Igor Shestyorkin have yet to see any ice time from head coach Ilya Vorobiev; but after yesterday’s loss to Torpedo, the bench boss says things will change.

Staying over in the KHL, forward Patrik Virta has scored Slovan Bratislava’s only goal of the season through the team’s two games. 2018 first-round draft pick Vitali Kravtsov has yet to register a point with Traktor Chelyabinsk, but he has made some dazzling dekes, as well as showing off his speed while backchecking during Traktor’s 1-1 start to the season.

As we come back over to North America, 2018 third-round pick Joey Keane registered two points in preseason action for the OHL’s Barrie Colts.

In addition, during a practice session with the team, Keane scored this shootout goal, showing off his delicious dangles from the blue line.
