Rangers Roundup: Stalberg looking for another Cup, Halverson signs and more
The Rangers have likely finished rounding out their roster early unless a trade is in the works. To that effect, there is literally zero chatter out there about any possible Rangers moves.
Viktor Stalberg looking for a Cup
According to Aftonbladet in Sweden, Stalberg has always had his eye on playing for the Rangers and spoke with Henrik Lundqvist about it.
[su_quote cite=”Aftonbladet” url=”https://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/hockey/internationellt/nhl/article21058920.ab”]It feels very good. It has always been a dream to play for the Rangers and I love New York City. Besides, it’s a very good team, I can get the chance to win another title…I hope to get a fresh start in New York. They seem to think of me too, so I’m very happy about this solution.[/su_quote]
Stalberg, Diaz and Megna all signed 1 way deals
Told Jayson Megna’s 1-year deal is $600,000. That Viktor Stalberg (1 yr/$1.1M) and Raphael Diaz (1 yr/$700,000) are the 1-way deals for #NYR

Due to Diaz and Megna being under $925K, they both can be sent down to the AHL and have their entire hit removed if they clear waivers. As for Stalberg, 175K would stay on the books should he be sent down.
