Team USA tried to make a comeback against the heavily favored Russian squad but fell 5-3. New York Rangers prospect, forward Brett Berard played 9:52 of the contest primarily used in the bottom six. He finished with 2 shots on goal and an even rating.
Hunter Skinner did not play.

Merry Christmas from Lafreniere and Miller
Alexis Lafreniere and K’Andre Miller are living with the same family in New York, which is customary for young rookies. The two future stars have been hanging out a lot together and bonding. Lafreniere posted a photo of him and Miller by the family tree on Instagram.
