Mika Zibanejad Out This Week

David Quinn gave a new update on Mika’s status.

Mika won’t make the Florida trip, so he’s out for the week. (Next three games.) David Quinn says they want to make sure he’s fully good to go before they reinsert him- with no risk for setbacks.

Puljujarvi staying in Finland

Jesse Puljujarvi told a Finnish outlet that he is focused on playing the year in Finland.

According to David Staples the Oilers could still trade Puljujarvi’s rights before December 1st, but this hampers any deal. Additionally, multiple sources around the league say that Edmonton’s ask is very high and that is why no trade has been facilitated so far. Of course, if Puljujarvi is dealt, that means he likely has changed his stance about playing the year in Finland.
