Rangers scratch Mats Zuccarello, Kevin Hayes and Adam McQuaid, are trades imminent?

According to Norwegian reporter, Roy Kvatningen the New York Rangers will be scratching Mats Zuccarello for today’s contest against NJ.

One of the teams that have been after Mats for awhile now are the Calgary Flames.

I understand several NY Rangers scouts are in town for tonight’s Flames game. Treliving was at MSG last night, further adding fuel to possibility Mats Zuccarello, Kevin Hayes or Chris Kreider could be Alberta bound. Kreider brings plenty as well as another year on his deal.

While I think it is a stretch for Kreider in any deal, especially Calgary, this does seem to align with those Zuccarello to the Flames rumors that have been very persistent.

The other possible destinations for Mats are Nashville, Dallas and Winnipeg.
