Rangers send disappointing JT Miller down with Jesper Fast, call up Chris Mueller

JT Miller is headed back to Hartford. (MSG)

The NY Rangers announced some transactions today as JT Miller and Jesper Fast were reassigned to Hartford. In turn the Rangers have called up center Chris Mueller.

Chris Mueller will wear number 14 and is expected to slot in as the 4th line center. Dominic Moore should move up a line and Marty St. Louis should be returned to his rightful spot on the RW.

As for JT Miller’s future? He’s young and the jury is still out. More development time in Hartford is better than sitting in the stands in NY.
