It’s been widely reported this week that Quinn would be the Rangers new bench boss and seemingly all of the hockey world, from Bob McKenzie and John Shannon to Rick Carpiniello and Larry Brooks confirming the signing. With GM Jeff Gorton back from the World Championships, the conference finals reaching their conclusion and the Stanley Cup Finals not starting until next week, it’s as good a time as any to introduce David Quinn as the next head coach.
