Rangers sign Ryder Korczak to entry level deal, contract details
The New York Rangers haves signed Ryder Korczak to his entry level deal according to CapFriendly.
Korczak, 19, is an offensive-minded forward drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
“I am super honored to be drafted by the New York Rangers,” Korczak told us in September. “I was super happy at camp and to share the ice with so many great players. It was nice spending time with people other than your immediate family.”
This season, he registered 79 points in 68 games which was good for 2nd on the Moose Jaw Warriors and 18th overall in the WHL. His 54 assists led the team.
Korczak’s previous career high was during the 2019-20 season where he scored 67 points in 62 games for Moose Jaw. The 5-11′, 174 lb center is a playmaker that can score too and should be with the Hartford Wolf Pack next season.
The Yorkton, Saskatchewan native is a promising prospect to keep an eye on.
