Rangers Roundup: Training Camp opens in two weeks, and more
Although the New York Rangers have made no official announcement, USA Today’s Vince Mercogliano reports that training camp is expected to officially open on September 21.
No word yet regarding when rookie camp opens, but it should likely be next week since the Rangers rookies will take on the Flyers rookies in a two game set.
Game 1 will be at 7:05 PM ET on Friday (9/16) followed by the finale on Saturday (9/17) starting at 5:05 PM ET. Both games will be played in Pennsylvania.
New York Rangers training camp opens 9/21/22
The New York Rangers will report to camp on 9/21, where they will go through off-ice physicals and then practices/scrimmages.
They will then kickoff the 2022-23 preseason against the New York Islanders on Monday, September 26th at Madison Square Garden. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM ET.

While the lineup appears to be mostly set, exhibition games are a great way to see some of the top prospect in action.
Prospect forwards Brennan Othmann and Will Cuylle along with goalie Dylan Garand will be three of the most anticipated players to watch. Other notable prospects will be Ryder Korczak, Brett Berard, and Adam Edstrom.
