Report: First NHL player tests positive for COVID-19
Elliotte Friedman is reporting late this evening that the first NHL player has tested positive for COVID-19. According to Friedman it is a member of the Ottawa Senators.
Sadly, this wasn’t a matter of if but when. As the list of NBA players has grown to 4 for the Coronavirus, we should see more in every sport, including hockey. Once again, do not panic and know the facts. Healthy adults under 70 appear to recover well from this virus. But we must think about the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions.
