Report: Rangers loan Vitali Kravtsov to Traktor of the KHL

Larry Brooks is reporting that the NY Rangers have agreed to loan Vitali Kravtsov to his former KHL club, Traktor. The decision for him to play in the KHL was an easy one for the Blueshirts, Vitali and his agent.

Rangers are loaning Kravtsov to KHL Traktor for 20-21, Post has learned. Will play for coach Gitiatulin, same coach as he had in draft year.

Rangers loan Vitali Kravtsov to Traktor

The NHL and AHL seasons are currently slated to start sometime in early December. With Vitali already back in Russia, he can get back to playing as the KHL season is starting up now.

This is a great move for all parties, since the 20 year-old can continue his development. When the 2020-2021 season starts, the Rangers can recall him back with minimal fuss.
