Rumor: San Jose Sharks believed to have offered the #9 pick in a Talbot deal

TSN reported that the San Jose Sharks are the rumored team that may have offered their first round pick for Cam Talbot.

As the day has progressed more and more reports indicate a deal will likely not take place until the draft tonight.

Let’s not be naive here either. If it is the Sharks that offered the #9 overall pick for Talbot, they didn’t do it straight up. If so, Sather would be a fool for not accepting. What SJ likely did was offer that #9 pick for Talbot and likely Keith Yandle.

So sit tight folks, this drama is still yet to unfold.
