According to multiple reports, Ryan Malone has been placed on waivers.

This is great news for the kids Anthony Duclair and to some degree Kevin Hayes.

NY is looking to make room for the return of Derek Stepan off longterm IR tomorrow. However, to should be noted he is still in a non-contact jersey at practice.
